About the Way Trust

The Way Trust is a Christian charitable organisation which provides people with work training opportunities in Aberdeen.

Aberdeen Straightway
The men's Project is Aberdeen Straightway Ltd and has been set up to support men, many of who have had addiction or criminal problems in the past. They find it very hard to secure employment and 'Straightway' helps then on the road to this goal. On the Project they learn skills in landscape gardening, paving, lockblocking, building, painting, and several more practical tasks as well as integrating into a team working situation.

Gateway@Credo
It is a project set up in recognition of the needs of unemployed women in Aberdeen and aims to provide supported work placements to those who are unable to access, or maintain mainstream employment. We operate with a very small staff and a dedicated team of Volunteers from churches in and around Aberdeen. The trainees who come to us from the Job Centre come usually for a 13week period when they learn skills relevant to coffee shop work and in CV writing, application writing and interview techniques.
